The Marriage

'The Marriage' (2007) explores a blurred territory of fiction and fantasy, constructing intersections of subjective and objective uncertainties.  Incorporating video, photography and the Internet, this project considers how we render information and experience, through the guise of history.  'The Marriage', intersects three disparate histories anchored in 1865; Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland, the American civil war, and the processing of the sugar plant; constructing an interplay of fiction and non-fiction, reality and fantasy and subjectivity and objectivity.
